Deep green mound often used in Japanese themed gardens as resembles neatly trimmed moss. Easy to grow in any soil that is moist. Can be grown in shady positions or in full sun, with sunny positions bringing a yellow hue to foliage in summer.

We ordered two Scleranthus and one is nice and compact but the other is rather less dense. Lack of light might be the cause as the delivery to us takes a little longer. They are both doing well however so it will be interesting to see how they develop.
