Hi Tracy
Thank you for taking the time to review your purchases. As per our email correspondence with you we informed you that the plants although on the smaller side are fully rooted. When ordering in late Autumn we grow all our plants in cold conditions and so that way they will survive the harsh winter to come rather than softened greenhouse grown specimens that will rot. Due to this as we explained they are the correct size and maturity to plant out at this time of year. So what you deemed as small is just the correct sizing for this time of year. If you were seeking plump large crowns we would always recommend buying sempervivums in Spring about April-May. Always best to ask if you are unaware when best to buy certain specimens. We recommend to purchase these before June, as after this we are generally sold out of that years crop until the following autumn/winter.
All the best
Luke & Laura
