This is a short lived specimen but will self seed around the garden producing masses of flowers through most months and being adored by bees.

This plant flowers in its second year. It has tall red stems full of rich blue flowers. Let it seeds around itself and you will be rewarded.

    Alive and growing, I have had symphyandra wanneri for many years in pots, and I assume it is similar, so not going to flower this year.

    Only just planted, so can’t comment on flowering. Obviously care is taken in packing, but I don’t like the very light pieces of whatever, plastic? organic? that’s put over the plants in the box. They fly everywhere and/or stick electrostatically to anything handy.
