Recreate one of our alpine displays in our alpine wooden boxes. This is a revamp of one of our most popular events from previous years. We will get you using alpines and other associated plants using our custom made wooden boxes. You get to take your completed package home at the end.
All you need to do is make sure you have a love for plants, some good footwear and appropriate clothing for the day, and enjoy yourself. These workshops make for great times that are ideal as a gift or just treating yourself to a new experience with the perfect leaving gift for the garden. This is very much a hands on event so be prepared to get mucky!
Workshops will start at 10am and finish approximately 1pm, drinks made fresh and cakes from our local bakery will be supplied. Please specify any allergen requirements before coming.
(2 - 7 working days)Join RHS Master Growers and RHS Chelsea Gold medalist award winning nursery owners Luke & Laura Whiting for a tour of D’Arcy & Everest nursery. You will be shown techniques from propagating to planting and maintaining a modern alpine or traditional alpine garden. New to 2023 - We will teach you how to plant up one of our alpine boxes. Then included in price an alpine box package to take home and create your own. Please bring extra clothing for adverse weather. Teas, coffees and cakes will be included in the interval. Starting at 10am and finishing at approximately 1pm.
