    Great packaging
    Caring and prompt customer service
    Healthy plant in great condition
    Very reasonable price
    Fast delivery

However I have had to give 4 stars as this was for someone’s birthday present and was purchased in the absolute ideal time of year when it should be flowering but has arrived as a small plant of just green leaves no flowers.

Also there is no mention in the product description that it will arrive without flowers.
I had assumed it would look something like the pictures provided which show really nice flowers.

Sad little Pulsatilla vulgaris Blue. Root bound, mostly copper coloured roots. Not the usual standard from D’arcy (whom I really respect and like), sadly. Perhaps I bought too late in season? Have planted them now – after teasing the roots well – but not sure they’ll survive the winter. Fingers crossed, with enough protection, but they don’t seem like they’ve had a good start. Happy to be wrong, though!
