Description
Burnt jelly plant.
This stands out clear above all other Bulbinella. Elongated succulent leaves that have been used in its origin for burns and bites hence the common name its bright orange flowers are non stop for parts of the south west Cornwall. For the rest of us a position that is dry through winter is best although we have tried in many areas around the nursery it has only ever survived 4 years before succumbing to winter wet so best potted so you can be wowed by its abundant growth and flowering season and then hide away against a wall or in a cold greenhouse through winter.

Normally a great plant ( I had some last year) however they were packed loosely and 2 of the 4 were partly broken and on their sides in the box

Hi Richard
Thankyou for taking the time to review your purchases. I am truly sorry that they were packed loosely by the team. These are very brittle plants and so they should have been packed more thoroughly to prevent as much damage as possible. (we are shifting to a new eco box of our own design soon and so this will stop things like this happening) in the mean time is it possible for you to email us a photo of the damaged plants to info@darcyeverest.co.uk.
Many thanks
Laura & Luke

Soo happy with this plant. This is usually quite hard to find. The yellow variety is more common. This is a very beautiful, well established little plant. I hope it does well in my care. Thank you.
